'Old Curiosities' For Isabel & Simon's Magical Bartle Hall Wedding Day

I thought it was absolutely essential to commence this Blog posting with Isabel & Simon's rather random Mood Board which was presented to us a few months ago, the entire FD team had their thinking caps on for this one, we discussed, we planned and we designed

At Isabel and Simon's Sample appointment we'd come up with some ideas and designs, based on what we'd been told by Issy & Simon and of course the contents of their eclectic Mood Board

Ruby and I had had the huge privilege of presenting the Bridal Bouquets to Issy and her Sister

We met up with Josie & Jason at the fabulous Bartle Hall in their Windsor Suite where the scene had been set for the ceremony
Fresh Flowers on the chairs and candlelit Rose petal lined Hurricane Lanterns decorated the aisle perfectly
Two of our Enchanted Trees and candlelit lanterns framed the beginning of the aisle perfectly

We'd dressed each alternate Pew end with a simple posy of fresh fragrant blooms in a vibrant colour

Dramatic designs of fresh Blossom, Eremurus, Stocks, Hydrangeas and Roses framed the head of the aisle beautifully
Along both fireplaces a series of random designs completed the look perfectly
On the Registrars table a collection of unique designs provided colour and fragrance

Gloriosa Lilies

These tall and voluptuous designs framing the ceremony space filled the room with sweet spring perfume

We lined up all of the Boutonnieres ready to pin them on to the guests as they arrived
The Bride Groom's Mum had, had her Handbag dressed with a corsage of Rolled Petals, Lilac and Forget Me Nots to compliment her ensemble
Each Boutonniere was quite different, a collection of vivid Spring Blooms gathered together naturally to create beautiful clusters each one tied with a different coloured ribbon bow

Isabel's gorgeous Bride Groom the lovely Simon was of course first to have his Boutonniere pinned on
The Groom's super proud parents

We pinned on all of the Boutonnieres ensuring they were perfectly placed

Gloriosa Lilies, Quails Eggs, Music Paper and lace doilies I think we could say random had been achieved perfectly

Beautiful Anemone

Wild Spring Boutonnieres looked perfect on the super smart lapels

The Bride's lovely Grandma wearing an ivory Ranuncula with fresh Rosemary and Chamomile
The Bride's Mum's multi-coloured Wrist Corsage created using a myriad of colours and blooms
The fabulous Bride's Mum
Here comes the Girls!!!....

Erica looked gorgeous and carried her vibrant bouquet perfectly
The brilliant Spencer Cartwright of Repartage Photography was capturing all of the magic

Our breathtakingly beautiful Bride the stunning Isabel

The Bridesmaid's Bouquet toned perfectly with her deep purple gown it included a rich a varied collection of fresh flowers

Huge and ginormous Congratulations to Isabel and Simon from all of the team here at Flower Design Events

We absolutely adored Issy's Wedding Bouquet it really was a magical combination of textured blooms and foliages

Our Bride & Groom were showered with fresh fragrant Rose Petal confetti

The festivities were being held in the newly re-furbished Balmoral Suite at Bartle Hall
Tall elegant vases dressed some of the tables providing height and a a full on floral design
Our Enchanted Trees dressed some of the tables, each one dripping in mosses, ferns and fresh flowers
Our Old Curiosity Table design, created using a seriously random collection of vessels each one filled with a varied collection of fresh flowers and berries

In the base of the tall table vases was a small design including bumble bees and fresh spring flowers

Fresh mysterious blooms like Gloriosa Rothschild dressed the enchanted and magical trees
Flag Iris and Guourdes

Just behind the Top Table a collection of Bird Cages and vessels all dressed with fresh flowers decorated the area perfectly
The Top Table was a glorious and magical collection of vessels each one filled with posies of fresh flowers

The Floral Seating Plan was created using one of our Verdi Gris screens dressed with a variety of Bottles and Tea Cups each one filled with it's own unique posy of fresh flowers

Huge thanks to Isabel and Simon for allowing us to get creative and design some truly inspiring creations, we had a great time working with these two and will miss them lots!!!xxx
