The Beautiful Country Wedding of Jess & Chris at Cartmel Priory & The Swan at Newby Bridge

Jess & Chris had put lots of themselves into this super chilled, seriously country style wedding, they provided us with a really personal Mood board which helped to inspire our designs, we adored the hedgerow gathered relaxed styling of the bouquets which complimented perfectly the pale sage green of the Bridesmaids gowns and the Lake District locations.

Our Ruby & Mike set off seriously early to head up to Cartmel to present our beautiful Bride Jess with her gloriously country hand picked style wedding bouquets

Our beautiful Bride and her lovely Bridesmaids were all getting ready at 'Ford House' in Cartmel which is where Ruby presented the FD Events Bridal Bouquet carrying lesson
Ruby & Mike headed across the square to the historic Cartmel Priory

Inside this historic Church which dates back to 1190 we'd given the interior a very simple and sympathetic treatment, with naturally tied posies of fresh flowers in jam jars on the ends of each alternate pew and two fabulous hand tied swags of fresh flowers, herbs and foliages were attached to either side of the internal arch

We used swathes of fresh ivy around the Candlestick
Posies of Wild flowers and herbs dressed the ends of the pews
Ruby lined up the wild style boutonnieres ready to pin them on to the Groom's Men

Fresh Pepermint, Wax Flower Blossom, Eryngium and Phlox Boutonniere
Dancing Grasses, Daisies and 'You & Me Together' Hydrangea florets tied together to create a wild informal boutonniere
Fresh Forget Me Nots, Peppermint, Chasmanthium Latifolia and Daisies tied with jute to create a naturally wild style of Boutonniere
A Marguerite, Sweet Pea, Forget Me Not and Wax Flower wild style boutonniere

A lovely Ladies wild style 'Un-wired Corsage' of 4 Good Roses and Gypsophilia with Champagne Grass
Ruby pinned on all of the Boutonnieres

Fresh Pepermint, Wax Flower Blossom, Eryngium and Phlox Boutonniere looked so perfect on the suit
Chris our super handsome Bride Groom complete with his rather special wild style Boutonniere
A Wild Style Boutonniere: Fresh Sweet Peas, Dancing Grasses, Wax Flower Blossom, Daisies and Eryngium, bound with cotton lace and tied with a contrasting jute bow

A seriously dynamic photography team the sensational and uber brilliant Lisa Aldersley and Rob Berry
The Bride Groom's very proud parents
Our beautiful Bride and her lovely entourage walked to Church through the streets of Cartmel

 Totally breathtaking...

The Bridal Bouquet looked so relaxed and just so perfect, the shades of pale greens, lavenders and purples with highlights in ivory and splashes pollen yellow
The Bridesmaids were wearing fresh flowers in their hair to match their pretty bridal posies of Roses, Sweet Peas, Love in the Mist and fresh herbs

We included fresh Blackberries, Pheasant feathers, grasses, flowers and herbs to create a truly wild and hedgerow gathered Bridal Bouquet

Our Beautiful Bride with her lovely Mum

Huge & Ginormous congratulations to Jess & Chris from all of the team here at Flower Design Events

Our dynamic duo collected the flowers from Church to take them over to The Swan at Newby Bridge the venue for the wedding breakfast
We'd decorated the tables with a random and unique collection of rustic designs all of them low, up high we'd dressed the beams with garlands of fresh flowers and jam jars and bottles filled with fresh flower posies

Bottles and jars filled with posies of fresh flowers hung from the beams at The Swan

Seed trays were stacked up and filled with fresh flowers, mosses and succulents at different layers creating texture and vibrancy

Our 'Walk in the Woods' design stretched along the top table illuminated with candlelit votives and candlesticks

All of the tables were named after Radio Four shows

Picnic Basket Card Collector dressed with a swag of fresh flowers
