Rachael & Phil's Stupendously Vibrant Wedding Day at St Andrew's Church Ashton & The Villa at Wrea Green

The sun was shining today and so it should do on this gorgeous couple. I can't tell you what a riot these two are and what a huge pleasure it has been to work with them and meet their lovely families. We've had meetings, here at FD HQ, at St Andrews and at The Villa, we've planned Mood boards, we've created sample designs, we've even had to be a bit brutal in the culling of certain designs (Some that I liked, one particular one that Phil liked but thankfully none that Rachael liked!!!) and finally the big day had arrived...
~
Jason & Olivia were the lucky ones to be doing the presentation of Bridal Bouquets, each bouquet was quite unique and utterly luscious
A plethora of vibrant blooms including English Garden Roses, Lily of the Valley, Craspedia, Daisies, Sweet Peas, Eremurus and Blackberries were gathered together in vast bundles of loveliness for our Bride and Bridesmaids to carry down the aisle
Jason and Rachael; the hand over of the Bouquet a nerve racking moment every time...
Phew Rachael looks delighted ...
The Bouquet captured all that is glorious about English Summer blooms

The bridesmaids all lined up and Jason conducted the FD Events Bridal Bouquet carrying lesson...

Olivia & Jason headed off to St Andrew's Church in Ashton, literally walking distance from the Brides family home, and incidentally the Church Rachael's Mum & Dad were married in a few years earlier
Our fabulously handsome Bride Groom the lovely Phil was first to have his Boutonniere pinned on by Jason
We loved these dapper Gents and their suits looked super cool, all of the Boutonnieres were different, quite unique yet created from flowers used in the Bridal Bouquets

Fabulous Chandeliers of fresh flowers hung from either side of the wrought iron arch way

Phil completed his 'old school' look with one of our magnificently wild Boutonnieres featuring a rather special David Austin Garden Rose Juliet
The Groom's Boutonniere included a Juliet Rose, Blackberries, Nigella, Craspedia, Peppermint, Lavender, Rosemary and Champagne Grass
Super glam with matching Wrist Corsage

Beautiful hanging floral chandeliers
Fresh flowers in glass jam jars dressed each alternate Pew End

The Groom's Mum's Wrist Corsage
The Groom's Mum looked so beautiful

The Bridesmaid's arrived in this fabulous old car
All of the Bridesmaid's were wearing gowns in a lovely 'nudey taupe' shade a perfect backdrop to vibrant flowers

Each Bridesmaid's Bouquet was as individual as the beautiful ladies carrying them

The super gorgeous Brides Mum who in Rachael's own words looked 'Ace'
We'd made the Bride's Mum a wrist corsage of Bombastic Roses, Love in the Mist, Hydrangeas and Sweet Peas to compliment her stunning ensemble
One of our favourite people the lovely Hannah Dornford May was the Photographer I can't wait to see her shots of this stunning day...

Our beautiful Bride and her super proud Dad were walking to Church, I love that....

Rachael's splendidly wild and rustic wedding bouquet in a vibrant array of late Summer flowers and herbs

Huge & Ginormous Congratulations to Rachael & Phil from all of the team here at Flower Design Events

The Celebrations moved on to the cool airy 'Pavillion' at The Villa in Wrea Green
Three magnificent 'Floral Chandeliers' dressed the ceiling
The central Chandelier was the largest of the three and included Orchids, Roses, Eremurus, Hydrangeas, Stocks and a plethora of fresh foliages and Herbs
The Top Table Design our 'Walk in the Woods' creation
We included bags of detail on this atmospheric top table design

We used our 'LOVE' signs to mirror the huge illuminate Love sign created by Rachael's Dad
Each of the tables was unique too, with individually created designs

On the top table we even included a Birds nest complete with feathers and a slightly oversized egg

Huge thanks to Rachael & Phil and their lovely families for choosing Flower Design Events to create their wedding flowers for them!!!xxx
